Xfce4-terminal is a lightweight and easy to use terminal emulator application with many advanced features including drop down, tabs, unlimited scrolling, full colors, fonts, transparent backgrounds, and more.

We can use yum or dnf to install xfce4-terminal on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install xfce4-terminal.

Install xfce4-terminal on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install xfce4-terminal using dnf by running the following command:

How To Uninstall xfce4-terminal on CentOS 8
