Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install xfce4-power-manager on CentOS 8.
What is xfce4-power-manager
Xfce Power Manager uses the information and facilities provided by HAL to display icons and handle user callbacks in an interactive Xfce session. Xfce Power Preferences allows authorised users to set policy and change preferences.
We can use yum or dnf to install xfce4-power-manager on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install xfce4-power-manager.
Install xfce4-power-manager on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

How To Uninstall xfce4-power-manager on CentOS 8
