How To Install wine-openal on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install wine-openal on CentOS 8.
What is wine-openal
This package adds an openal driver for wine.
We can use yum or dnf to install wine-openal on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install wine-openal.
Install wine-openal on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install wine-openal using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install wine-openal

How To Uninstall wine-openal on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the wine-openal package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove wine-openal

/usr/lib/.build-id
/usr/lib/.build-id/2d/97712a08123b1f54a43fe8d45e7045e37679f2
/usr/lib64/wine/openal32.dll.so
