How To Install wildmidi-libs on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install wildmidi-libs
on CentOS 8.
What is wildmidi-libs
This package contains the WildMidi core softsynth library. The library is designed to process a midi file and stream out the stereo audio data through a buffer which an external program can then process further.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install wildmidi-libs
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install wildmidi-libs.
Install wildmidi-libs on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install wildmidi-libs
using dnf
by running the following command:

How To Uninstall wildmidi-libs on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the wildmidi-libs
package we can use the following command:
