How To Install wad on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install wad
on CentOS 8.
What is wad
WAD lets you analyze given URL(s) and detect technologies used by web application behind that URL, from the OS and web server level, to the programming platform and frameworks, as well as server- and client-side applications, tools and libraries.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install wad
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install wad.
Install wad on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install wad
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install wad
Install wad on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.

How To Uninstall wad on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the wad
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove wad
