How To Install volume_key-devel on CentOS 8

on CentOS 8.
What is volume_key-devel
This package provides libvolume_key, a library for manipulating storage volume encryption keys and storing them separately from volumes. The main goal of the software is to allow restoring access to an encrypted hard drive if the primary user forgets the passphrase. We can use yum
or dnf
to install volume_key-devel

Install volume_key-devel on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install volume_key-devel
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install volume_key-devel
Install volume_key-devel on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh

How To Uninstall volume_key-devel on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the volume_key-devel
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove volume_key-devel
