How To Install vim-pathogen on CentOS 8

What is vim-pathogen
Manage your ‘runtimepath’ with ease. In practical terms, pathogen.vim makes it super easy to install plugins and runtime files in their own private directories. For new users, I recommend using Vim’s built-in package management instead
We can use yum or dnf to install vim-pathogen on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install vim-pathogen.
Install vim-pathogen on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install vim-pathogen using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install vim-pathogen
Install vim-pathogen on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.

How To Uninstall vim-pathogen on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the vim-pathogen package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove vim-pathogen
