What is usbguard-dbus

The usbguard-dbus package contains an optional component that provides a D-Bus interface to the USBGuard daemon component.

We can use yum or dnf to install usbguard-dbus on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install usbguard-dbus.

Install usbguard-dbus on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install usbguard-dbus using dnf by running the following command:

How To Uninstall usbguard-dbus on CentOS 8

To uninstall only the usbguard-dbus package we can use the following command:
