udica is A tool for generating SELinux security policies for containers

Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install udica on CentOS 8.

What is udica

Tool for generating SELinux security profiles for containers based on inspection of container JSON file.

We can use yum or dnf to install udica on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install udica.

Install udica on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install udica using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install udica

Install udica on CentOS 8 Using yum

After updating yum database, We can install udica using yum by running the following command:

How To Uninstall udica on CentOS 8

To uninstall only the udica package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove udica
