How To Install txt2tags on CentOS 8

In this tutorial we learn how to install txt2tags
on CentOS 8.
What is txt2tags
Txt2tags is a document generator. It reads a text file with minimal markup as bold and //italic// and converts it to the following formats * HTML * XHTML * SGML * LaTeX * Lout * Man page * Wikipedia (NEW) * Google Code Wiki (NEW) * DokuWiki (NEW) * MoinMoin * MagicPoint * PageMaker * Plain text
We can use yum
or dnf
to install txt2tags
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install txt2tags.
Install txt2tags on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install txt2tags
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install txt2tags
Install txt2tags on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.

How To Uninstall txt2tags on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the txt2tags
