What is texlive-xetex-itrans

The package provides maps for use with XeLaTeX with coding done using itrans. Fontspec maps are provided for Devanagari (Sanskrit), for Sanskrit in Kannada and for Kannada itself.

We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-xetex-itrans on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-xetex-itrans.
