texlive-utopia is Adobe Utopia fonts
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-utopia on CentOS 8.
What is texlive-utopia
The Adobe Standard Encoding set (upright and italic shapes, medium and bold weights) of the Utopia font family, which Adobe donated to the X Consortium. Macro support, and maths fonts that match the Utopia family, are provided by the Fourier and the Mathdesign Utopia font packages.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-utopia on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-utopia.
Install texlive-utopia on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:
