Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-texlive-scripts on CentOS 8.
What is texlive-texlive-scripts
Includes install-tl, tl-portable, rungs, etc.; not needed for tlmgr to run but still ours. Not included in tlcritical.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-texlive-scripts on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-texlive-scripts.
Install texlive-texlive-scripts on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install texlive-texlive-scripts using dnf by running the following command:
