In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-multido on CentOS 8.

What is texlive-multido

The package provides the \multido command, which was originally designed for use with with PSTricks. Fixed-point arithmetic is used when working on the loop variable, so that the package is equally applicable in graphics applications like PSTricks as it is with the more common integer loops.

We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-multido on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-multido.

Install texlive-multido on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install texlive-multido using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install texlive-multido

How To Uninstall texlive-multido on CentOS 8

To uninstall only the texlive-multido package we can use the following command:
