How To Install texlive-ifplatform on CentOS 8

In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-ifplatform on CentOS 8.
What is texlive-ifplatform
This package uses the (La)TeX extension -shell-escape to establish whether the document is being processed on a Windows or on a Unix-like system (Mac OS X, Linux, etc.), or on Cygwin (Unix environment over a windows system). Booleans provided are also preserves the output of uname on a Unix-like system, which may be used to distinguish between various classes of Unix systems.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-ifplatform on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-ifplatform.

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

After updating yum database, We can install texlive-ifplatform using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-ifplatform

How To Uninstall texlive-ifplatform on CentOS 8
