How To Install texlive-etoolbox on CentOS 8

In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-etoolbox
on CentOS 8.
What is texlive-etoolbox
The etoolbox package is a toolbox of programming facilities geared primarily towards LaTeX class and package authors. It provides LaTeX frontends to some of the new primitives provided by e-TeX as well as some generic tools which are not strictly related to e-TeX but match the profile of this package. Note that the initial versions of this package were released under the name elatex. The package provides functions that seem to offer alternative ways of implementing some LaTeX kernel commands; nevertheless, the package will not modify any part of the LaTeX kernel.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-etoolbox
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-etoolbox.
Install texlive-etoolbox on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install texlive-etoolbox
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-etoolbox
Install texlive-etoolbox on CentOS 8 Using yum

How To Uninstall texlive-etoolbox on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the texlive-etoolbox
