What is systemd-journal-remote
Programs to forward journal entries over the network, using encrypted HTTP, and to write journal files from serialized journal contents. This package contains systemd-journal-gatewayd, systemd-journal-remote, and systemd-journal-upload.
We can use yum or dnf to install systemd-journal-remote on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install systemd-journal-remote.
Install systemd-journal-remote on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
