How To Install slurm-pmi-devel on CentOS 8

What is slurm-pmi-devel
The slurm-pmi-devel package contains the development files for the libpmi and libpmi2 libraries.
We can use yum or dnf to install slurm-pmi-devel on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install slurm-pmi-devel.
Install slurm-pmi-devel on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install slurm-pmi-devel using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install slurm-pmi-devel

How To Uninstall slurm-pmi-devel on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the slurm-pmi-devel package we can use the following command:
