What is sil-scheherazade-fonts
Scheherazade, named after the heroine of the classic Arabian Nights tale, is designed in a similar style to traditional typefaces such as Monotype Naskh, extended to cover the full Unicode Arabic repertoire.
We can use yum or dnf to install sil-scheherazade-fonts on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install sil-scheherazade-fonts.
Install sil-scheherazade-fonts on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

After updating yum database, We can install sil-scheherazade-fonts using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install sil-scheherazade-fonts
