How To Install sdparm on CentOS 8

In this tutorial we learn how to install sdparm on CentOS 8.

What is sdparm

SCSI disk parameters are held in mode pages. This utility lists or changes those parameters. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

After updating yum database, We can install sdparm using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install sdparm

How To Uninstall sdparm on CentOS 8

To uninstall only the sdparm package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove sdparm
