How To Install rubygem-gssapi on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install rubygem-gssapi
on CentOS 8.
What is rubygem-gssapi
A FFI wrapper around the system GSSAPI library. Please make sure and read the Yard docs or standard GSSAPI documentation if you have any questions. There is also a class called GSSAPI features used for GSSAPI.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install rubygem-gssapi
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install rubygem-gssapi.
Install rubygem-gssapi on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install rubygem-gssapi
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install rubygem-gssapi
Install rubygem-gssapi on CentOS 8 Using yum

using the following command.

How To Uninstall rubygem-gssapi on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the rubygem-gssapi
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove rubygem-gssapi
