What is rsyslog-omamqp1
The rsyslog-omamqp1 package contains a dynamic shared object that will add AMQP1 support to rsyslog.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install rsyslog-omamqp1
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install rsyslog-omamqp1.
Install rsyslog-omamqp1 on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install rsyslog-omamqp1
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install rsyslog-omamqp1

How To Uninstall rsyslog-omamqp1 on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the rsyslog-omamqp1
