How To Install rpm-ostree-libs on CentOS 8

What is rpm-ostree-libs
The rpm-ostree-libs package includes the shared library for rpm-ostree. rpm-ostree-libs 2020.7 3.el8 x86_64 948 k rpm-ostree-2020.7-3.el8.src.rpm appstream Shared library for rpm-ostree https LGPLv2+ The rpm-ostree-libs package includes the shared library for rpm-ostree.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install rpm-ostree-libs
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install rpm-ostree-libs.
Install rpm-ostree-libs on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install rpm-ostree-libs
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install rpm-ostree-libs

How To Uninstall rpm-ostree-libs on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the rpm-ostree-libs
