Red Hat Satellite Client Tools provides programs and libraries to allow your system to receive software updates from Red Hat Satellite or Spacewalk.

We can use yum or dnf to install rhn-client-tools on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install rhn-client-tools.

Install rhn-client-tools on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

How To Uninstall rhn-client-tools on CentOS 8
