What is qtlockedfile-qt5
This class extends the QFile class with inter-process file locking capabilities. If an application requires that several processes should access the same file, QtLockedFile can be used to easily ensure that only one process at a time is writing to the file, and that no process is writing to it while others are reading it. This is a special build against Qt5.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install qtlockedfile-qt5
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install qtlockedfile-qt5.
Install qtlockedfile-qt5 on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install qtlockedfile-qt5
using dnf
by running the following command:
