In this tutorial we learn how to install qt5-qtscxml on CentOS 8.

What is qt5-qtscxml

The Qt SCXML module provides functionality to create state machines from SCXML files. This includes both dynamically creating state machines loading the SCXML file and instantiating states and transitions) and generating a C++ file that has a class implementing the state machine. It also contains functionality to support data models and executable content.

We can use yum or dnf to install qt5-qtscxml on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install qt5-qtscxml.

Install qt5-qtscxml on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install qt5-qtscxml using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install qt5-qtscxml

How To Uninstall qt5-qtscxml on CentOS 8

To uninstall only the qt5-qtscxml package we can use the following command:
