How To Install qjackctl on CentOS 8

In this tutorial we learn how to install qjackctl
on CentOS 8.
What is qjackctl
Qjackctl is a simple application to control the JACK sound server daemon, specific for the Linux Audio Desktop infrastructure. It provides a simple GUI dialog for setting several JACK daemon parameters, which are properly saved between sessions, and a way to control the status of the audio server daemon. With time, this primordial interface has become richer by including a enhanced patch bay and connection control features.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install qjackctl
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install qjackctl.
Install qjackctl on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh

using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install qjackctl

How To Uninstall qjackctl on CentOS 8
