How To Install qgpgme on CentOS 8

In this tutorial we learn how to install qgpgme
on CentOS 8.
What is qgpgme
Qt API bindings/wrapper for GPGME. qgpgme 1.13.1 7.el8 x86_64 244 k gpgme-1.13.1-7.el8.src.rpm appstream Qt API bindings/wrapper for GPGME https LGPLv2+ and MIT Qt API bindings/wrapper for GPGME.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install qgpgme
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install qgpgme.
Install qgpgme on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install qgpgme
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install qgpgme
Install qgpgme on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.

How To Uninstall qgpgme on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the qgpgme
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove qgpgme
