How To Install pyzor on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install pyzor
on CentOS 8.
What is pyzor
Pyzor is a collaborative, networked system to detect and block spam using identifying digests of messages. Pyzor is similar to Vipul’s Razor except implemented in python, and using fully open source servers. Pyzor can be used either standalone, or to augment the spam filtering ability of spamassassin. spamassassin is highly recommended.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install pyzor
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install pyzor.
Install pyzor on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install pyzor
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install pyzor
Install pyzor on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh

How To Uninstall pyzor on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the pyzor
