A Python implementation of JSON Web Token draft 01. This library provides a means of representing signed content using JSON data structures, including claims to be transferred between two parties encoded as digitally signed and encrypted JSON objects.

We can use yum or dnf to install python3-jwt on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install python3-jwt.

Install python3-jwt on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install python3-jwt using dnf by running the following command:

How To Uninstall python3-jwt on CentOS 8

To uninstall only the python3-jwt package we can use the following command:
