What is python3-itsdangerous
Itsdangerous is a Python 3 library for passing data through untrusted environments (for example, HTTP cookies) while ensuring the data is not tampered with. Internally itsdangerous uses HMAC and SHA1 for signing by default and bases the implementation on the Django signing module. It also however supports JSON Web Signatures (JWS).
We can use yum
or dnf
to install python3-itsdangerous
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install python3-itsdangerous.
Install python3-itsdangerous on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
