How To Install python3-hawkey on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install python3-hawkey on CentOS 8.
What is python3-hawkey
Python 3 bindings for the hawkey library. python3-hawkey 0.55.0 7.el8 x86_64 114 k libdnf-0.55.0-7.el8.src.rpm baseos Python 3 bindings for the hawkey library https LGPLv2+ Python 3 bindings for the hawkey library.
We can use yum or dnf to install python3-hawkey on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install python3-hawkey.
Install python3-hawkey on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install python3-hawkey using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install python3-hawkey
Install python3-hawkey on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.

How To Uninstall python3-hawkey on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the python3-hawkey package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove python3-hawkey
