How To Install python3-dmidecode on CentOS 8

What is python3-dmidecode
python3-dmidecode is a Python 3 extension module that uses the code-base of the ‘dmidecode’ utility, and presents the data as Python 3 data structures or as XML data using libxml2.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install python3-dmidecode
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install python3-dmidecode.
Install python3-dmidecode on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install python3-dmidecode
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install python3-dmidecode

How To Uninstall python3-dmidecode on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the python3-dmidecode
