How To Install python3-decorator on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install python3-decorator
on CentOS 8.
What is python3-decorator
The aim of the decorator module is to simplify the usage of decorators for the average programmer, and to popularize decorators usage giving examples of useful decorators, such as memoize, tracing, redirecting_stdout, locked, etc. The core of this module is a decorator factory called decorator.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install python3-decorator
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install python3-decorator.
Install python3-decorator on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install python3-decorator
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install python3-decorator
Install python3-decorator on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh

How To Uninstall python3-decorator on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the python3-decorator
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove python3-decorator
