How To Install powerman on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install powerman
on CentOS 8.
What is powerman
PowerMan is a tool for manipulating remote power control (RPC) devices from a central location. Several RPC varieties are supported natively by PowerMan and Expect-like configurability simplifies the addition of new devices.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install powerman
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install powerman.
Install powerman on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install powerman
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install powerman
Install powerman on CentOS 8 Using yum
