How To Install perl-File-pushd on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install perl-File-pushd
on CentOS 8.
What is perl-File-pushd
File similar to pushd in some Unix command shells. It works by creating an object that caches the original working directory. When the object is destroyed, the destructor calls chdir to revert to the original working directory. By storing the object in a lexical variable with a limited scope, this happens automatically at the end of the scope.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install perl-File-pushd
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-File-pushd.
Install perl-File-pushd on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh

using dnf

How To Uninstall perl-File-pushd on CentOS 8
