How To Install pangomm on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install pangomm
on CentOS 8.
What is pangomm
pangomm provides a C++ interface to the Pango library. Highlights include typesafe callbacks, widgets extensible via inheritance and a comprehensive set of widget classes that can be freely combined to quickly create complex user interfaces. pangomm 2.40.1 6.el8 x86_64 67 k pangomm-2.40.1-6.el8.src.rpm appstream C++ interface for Pango http LGPLv2+ pangomm provides a C++ interface to the Pango library. We can use yum
or dnf
to install pangomm
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install pangomm.
Install pangomm on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install pangomm
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install pangomm
Install pangomm on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh

How To Uninstall pangomm on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the pangomm
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove pangomm
