How To Install opendkim on CentOS 8

opendkim is A DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) milter to sign and/or verify mail

Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install opendkim on CentOS 8.

What is opendkim

OpenDKIM allows signing and/or verification of email through an open source library that implements the DKIM service, plus a milter-based filter application that can plug in to any milter-aware MTA, including sendmail, Postfix, or any other MTA that supports the milter protocol.

We can use yum or dnf to install opendkim on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install opendkim.

Install opendkim on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install opendkim using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install opendkim

How To Uninstall opendkim on CentOS 8

To uninstall only the opendkim package we can use the following command:
