Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install mousetweaks on CentOS 8.

What is `mousetweaks`

The Mousetweaks package provides mouse accessibility enhancements for the GNOME desktop, such as performing various clicks without using any hardware button. The options can be accessed through the Accessibility tab of the Mouse Preferences of GNOME Control Center or through command-line.

We can use yum or dnf to install mousetweaks on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install mousetweaks.

Install mousetweaks on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:
