How To Install mod_proxy_html on CentOS 8

What is mod_proxy_html

The mod_proxy_html and mod_xml2enc modules provide filters which can transform and modify HTML and XML content.

We can use yum or dnf to install mod_proxy_html on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install mod_proxy_html.

Install mod_proxy_html on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install mod_proxy_html using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install mod_proxy_html

How To Uninstall mod_proxy_html on CentOS 8

To uninstall only the mod_proxy_html package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove mod_proxy_html
