How To Install mod_intercept_form_submit on CentOS 8

mod_intercept_form_submit is Apache module to intercept login form submission and run PAM authentication

In this tutorial we learn how to install mod_intercept_form_submit on CentOS 8.

What is mod_intercept_form_submit

mod_intercept_form_submit can intercept submission of application login forms. It retrieves the login and password information from the POST HTTP request, runs PAM authentication with those credentials, and sets the REMOTE_USER environment variable if the authentication passes.

We can use yum or dnf to install mod_intercept_form_submit on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install mod_intercept_form_submit.

Install mod_intercept_form_submit on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install mod_intercept_form_submit using dnf by running the following command:

How To Uninstall mod_intercept_form_submit on CentOS 8
