In this tutorial we learn how to install lldpad on CentOS 8.

What is lldpad

This package contains the Linux user space daemon and configuration tool for Intel LLDP Agent with Enhanced Ethernet support for the Data Center. lldpad 1.0.1 13.git036e314.el8 x86_64 298 k lldpad-1.0.1-13.git036e314.el8.src.rpm baseos Intel LLDP Agent http GPLv2 This package contains the Linux user space daemon and configuration tool for Intel LLDP Agent with Enhanced Ethernet support for the Data Center.

We can use yum or dnf to install lldpad on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install lldpad.

Install lldpad on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

How To Uninstall lldpad on CentOS 8
