How To Install lksctp-tools on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install lksctp-tools on CentOS 8.
What is lksctp-tools
This is the lksctp-tools package for Linux Kernel SCTP (Stream Control Transmission Protocol) Reference Implementation. This package is intended to supplement the Linux Kernel SCTP Reference Implementation now available in the Linux kernel source tree in versions 2.5.36 and following. For more information on LKSCTP see the package documentation README file, section titled “LKSCTP - Linux Kernel SCTP.” This package contains the base run-time library and command-line tools. lksctp-tools 1.0.18 3.el8 x86_64 100 k lksctp-tools-1.0.18-3.el8.src.rpm baseos User-space access to Linux Kernel SCTP http GPLv2 and GPLv2+ and LGPLv2 and MIT This is the lksctp-tools package for Linux Kernel SCTP (Stream Control Transmission Protocol) Reference Implementation. We can use yum or dnf to install lksctp-tools on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install lksctp-tools.
Install lksctp-tools on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install lksctp-tools using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install lksctp-tools
Install lksctp-tools on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.

How To Uninstall lksctp-tools on CentOS 8
