How To Install libXp on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install libXp
on CentOS 8.
What is libXp
X.Org X11 libXp runtime library libXp 1.0.3 3.el8 x86_64 38 k libXp-1.0.3-3.el8.src.rpm appstream X.Org X11 libXp runtime library http MIT X.Org X11 libXp runtime library
We can use yum
or dnf
to install libXp
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install libXp.
Install libXp on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install libXp
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install libXp
Install libXp on CentOS 8 Using yum

How To Uninstall libXp on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the libXp
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove libXp
