How To Install libXmu on CentOS 8

In this tutorial we learn how to install libXmu
on CentOS 8.
What is libXmu
X.Org X11 libXmu/libXmuu runtime libraries libXmu 1.1.3 1.el8 x86_64 75 k libXmu-1.1.3-1.el8.src.rpm appstream X.Org X11 libXmu/libXmuu runtime libraries http MIT X.Org X11 libXmu/libXmuu runtime libraries
We can use yum
or dnf
to install libXmu
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install libXmu.
Install libXmu on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install libXmu
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install libXmu
Install libXmu on CentOS 8 Using yum

How To Uninstall libXmu on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the libXmu
