How To Install libXfixes on CentOS 8

on CentOS 8.
What is libXfixes
X Fixes library. libXfixes 5.0.3 7.el8 x86_64 25 k libXfixes-5.0.3-7.el8.src.rpm appstream X Fixes library http MIT X Fixes library.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install libXfixes
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install libXfixes.
Install libXfixes on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install libXfixes
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install libXfixes

How To Uninstall libXfixes on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the libXfixes
package we can use the following command:
