In this tutorial we learn how to install libXaw on CentOS 8.

What is libXaw

Xaw is a widget set based on the X Toolkit Intrinsics (Xt) Library. libXaw 1.0.13 10.el8 x86_64 194 k libXaw-1.0.13-10.el8.src.rpm appstream X Athena Widget Set http MIT Xaw is a widget set based on the X Toolkit Intrinsics (Xt) Library.

We can use yum or dnf to install libXaw on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install libXaw.

Install libXaw on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install libXaw using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install libXaw

How To Uninstall libXaw on CentOS 8
