How To Install libvmem-devel on CentOS 8

libvmem-devel is Development files for the Volatile Memory allocation library

Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install libvmem-devel on CentOS 8.

What is libvmem-devel

The libvmem library turns a pool of persistent memory into a volatile memory pool, similar to the system heap but kept separate and with its own malloc-style API. This sub-package contains libraries and header files for developing applications that want to make use of libvmem.

We can use yum or dnf to install libvmem-devel on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install libvmem-devel.
