How To Install irrlicht on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install irrlicht on CentOS 8.
What is irrlicht
The Irrlicht Engine is an open source high performance realtime 3D engine written and usable in C++ and also available for .NET languages. It is completely cross-platform, using D3D, OpenGL and its own software renderer, and has all of the state-of-the-art features which can be found in commercial 3d engines.
We can use yum or dnf to install irrlicht on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install irrlicht.
Install irrlicht on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install irrlicht using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install irrlicht
Install irrlicht on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.

How To Uninstall irrlicht on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the irrlicht package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove irrlicht
