How To Install gpgmepp on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install gpgmepp
on CentOS 8.
What is gpgmepp
C++ bindings/wrapper for GPGME. gpgmepp 1.13.1 7.el8 x86_64 124 k gpgme-1.13.1-7.el8.src.rpm baseos C++ bindings/wrapper for GPGME https LGPLv2+ and MIT C++ bindings/wrapper for GPGME.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install gpgmepp
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install gpgmepp.
Install gpgmepp on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install gpgmepp
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install gpgmepp
Install gpgmepp on CentOS 8 Using yum

How To Uninstall gpgmepp on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the gpgmepp
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove gpgmepp
